About Totnes & Torbay Canoes

We are a small but well stocked shop right next to the river Dart in Totnes.  We carry all the main brands of sit on tops, kayaks, canoes and sea boats along with all the clothing and associated gear. What we don’t have in stock we can get from our main hub which is only 30mins away.

Tom runs the shop and has been paddling from the age of 18, now 43! He is happy to talk through all the options available and will try his best to get you on the water in craft to suit your needs. If you wish to try the boat first this can be done on the river outside the shop at no charge.

Alongside the retail shop Tom also operates Totnes Kayaks Academy www.totneskayaks.co.uk that runs a hire fleet of sit on tops during the Spring/Summer and also a paddle training school all year round.
